He earned his M.Phil. in English Language Education (ELE) from Kathmandu University, Nepal, in 2017, where his thesis focused on “Teachers’ perceptions and strategies in teaching large EFL classes in public schools of Nepal: A qualitative study.” Prior to that, he obtained an M.ED. in English Language Teaching (ELT) from Kathmandu University in 2012, with a thesis on “Perceptions and practices of participatory teaching in ELT.” Dr. Dhakal also holds a B.ED. in Teacher Education from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, which he completed in 2007.
