Prior to his doctoral studies, he completed his Post-Graduation in Process & Food Engineering at GBPUA&T Pantnagar, India, in 1997, also securing First Class Honors with a commendable 75.96%. His academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from GBPUA&T Pantnagar in 1995, where he graduated with First Class honors, marking the beginning of his academic excellence and commitment to agricultural engineering and technology.

Currently an Assistant Professor in Agricultural Process Engineering since 2002, he has also served as Head of the Department from 2017 to 2021.
