Jorge Ancheyta is a Full-Time Professor of Chemical Engineering at the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico. He earned his PhD from the Metropolitan Autonomous University and Imperial College London, following advanced studies in chemical and hydrocarbon engineering. With over three decades of experience, he has led major research at the Mexican Petroleum Institute on heavy oil upgrading, catalysis, and ultra-low sulfur fuels. His research interests include refining processes, kinetic modeling, and renewable fuels. A highly cited scholar, he has received national and international awards, supervised numerous students, and continues to advance sustainable energy technologies.
